REPORT OF HUMAN FASCIOLIASIS UNDER DIFFERENT CLIMATIC CONDITIONS IN BRAZIL

Introduction: Human fascioliasis is a plant-borne and water-borne infection caused by the trematodes Fasciola hepatica gigantica. It one of main neglected tropical diseases, infections in humans occur via ingestion contaminated water food. This study reviews all recorded cases human Brazil under different climatic conditions national territory. Methodology:A survey was carried out using Google Scholar, Lilacs PubMed databases. The variables such as temperature, precipitation, moisture altitude were obtained from database Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (INMET). Results: Between years 1958 2022, sixty-six places with temperature levels between 22 °C to 33 °C, humidity 78% 86%, precipitation 90 mm 167 mm, at an 16 935 meters above sea level. Conclusion: parasite’s ability adapt observed number territory may be higher due underreporting related difficulty diagnosing infection.
